Meet Tiffany R. Cunningham, founder of Mindful Memory Consulting and a master's-prepared registered nurse with more than 20 years of experience in geriatrics, dementia care, and care coordination. Tiffany is also a Certified Dementia Practitioner and care coordination specialist.
Her professional path is closely intertwined with her role as primary caregiver for her mother living with early-onset Alzheimer's disease, which deeply shapes her calm, practical, and compassionate approach.
Our mission is to bridge dementia-informed care, caregiver support, and emergency preparedness so vulnerable adults are safer, better understood, and treated with dignity.
We combine clinical nursing expertise and lived caregiver experience to guide families, professionals, and communities toward clear next steps, calmer days, and stronger crisis readiness through practical education, advocacy, and culturally sensitive planning.
Our Inspiring Care JourneyBlending real-life caregiving experience with medicine.
Tiffany's journey began in geriatric nursing, where she supported older adults across hospitals, clinics, and senior living communities. Over more than two decades, she developed deep expertise in dementia care, chronic disease management, and care coordination. Her work with interdisciplinary teams and community partners showed her how often caregivers feel unprepared, especially when navigating complex systems and sudden health changes.
Everything changed when Tiffany's mother developed early-onset Alzheimer's disease and was once missing in a busy international airport for nearly ten hours. That frightening day revealed how vulnerable people with memory loss can be, even when surrounded by others. It also highlighted how little practical guidance families receive about safety and emergencies, inspiring Tiffany to create a different kind of support.
